Map out project plans and solution architectures, working closely with the Team Lead to translate client needs into scalable, maintainable software solutions.
Design, build, and maintain (AI-feature-enhanced) web applications en tools (portals, ERP-systems, SaaS-systems etc.) and potentially (lean) mobile versions (PWS) or applications (iOS, etc.).
Integrate and set up the full tech stack/scope, including (vector) databases, AI components (RAG applications, AI/LLM-driven functionality) and scalable features and architecture (multi-tenancy, load balancing etc).
Take ownership of app development end-to-end, from concept and implementation to testing, deployment, and iteration.
Document architectures, workflows, and integrations to support long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing.
3-5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer (coding experience is a must)
Proven track record in developing AI-enhanced platforms (AI functionality embedded into full-stack systems and applications).
Proven track record in building larger full-stack systems, ideally both for internal as external usage. Large refers to by example the size of the dataset, size of the userbase, complexity or count of functionalities etc. Ideally a combination of all.
Comfortable working with APIs, third-party services, database technologies (including vector databases), and AI components (primarily LLMs; often without extensive fine-tuning or traditional ML).
Fluent working with AI-assisted coding tools, such as Claude Code.
Enjoys communicating professionaly and clearly with clients, is responsive, reliable and invested in their clients succes, and likes solving real-world problems.
Thrives in a fast-paced and high-ownersip environment, takes ownerships to solve problems, is flexible and get's things done effectively.
Able to work during Dutch office hours (08:00–18:00 Amsterdam time).
Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus but not needed.
