I understand that I am participating in a karate tournament organised by the Shotokan Karate Club Tasmania under the ruleset of World Karate Masters Federation (WKMF).

I AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:
• I release and hold harmless the Shotokan Karate Club Tasmania, WKMF, its instructors, judges, members, staff, and anyone else involved with the tournament from any claims, losses, injuries or damages that may happen to me during or as a result of the tournament.
• I agree to waive any claims or causes of action I may have against the Shotokan Karate Club Tasmania, WKMF or anyone else involved with the tournament.
• I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Shotokan Karate Club Tasmania, WKMF and anyone else involved with the tournament from any claims or damages that may happen to me during or as a result of the tournament.

I UNDERSTAND THAT:
• I am responsible for my own safety and well-being during the tournament.
• I may be injured or suffer damage to my property during the tournament.
• I agree to take part in the tournament at my own risk.

This Waiver and Release of Liability shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tasmania.
