Friday night Shabbat services with singing, gathering and food. Bring an open heart and a vegetarian/pescatarian dish to share. This space is not affiliated with any group or synagogue. We are a group of queer and trans Jewish organizers, artists, teachers, healers, and students who are committed to Palestinian liberation and a Judaism without zionism creating a space welcoming of all who desire the spiritual as political and the political as spiritual. Our Kabbalat Shabbat will be celebratory and grounded in our shared liberatory ethics. All are invited regardless of knowledge or relationship to Jewish prayer or Hebrew. There will be a mix of English song, poetry, and time to share with one another. Potluck to follow.
