Electric batteries power our modern world. With greater adoption comes greater responsibility to understand safe use, management, prevention, and end-of-life considerations.

Battery emergencies don't fit neatly into one organization or one profession. Effective preparedness requires shared knowledge, coordinated planning, and a common understanding of the challenges responders may face.

That's why Utah Clean Cities First Responder READY is bringing together leaders and responders from academic, transit, industry, and government organizations across the Wasatch Front and Wasatch Back for a two-day training and working session. We will learn from one another and build stronger emergency readiness for incidents involving lithium-ion batteries.
