UAPA#2 - The Energy of the Metropolis - Barcelona October 2026

Every city has a rhythm, a pulse hidden in the shadow of its architecture, the movement of its crowds, and the quiet narratives of its streets.

This autumn, the Urban Art Project Athens (UAPA) returns to bridge two distinct yet deeply connected worlds. We are initiating a captivating photographic dialogue; a visual exploration where the raw urban identity of Athens and the vibrant, artistic spirit of Barcelona reflect, challenge, and look directly into each other. This is a space where the unique gaze of local creators filters the light, the contrasts, and the shared Mediterranean soul of these two iconic metropolises.

To bring this vision to life, we are inviting visual storytellers to capture "The Energy of the Metropolis". We want to see how you perceive the streets, the people, the heritage, and the abstract realities that define life within those to cities.

We are proud to announce that this artistic endeavor is launching under the auspices from the Municipality of Athens and the Embassy of Greece in Madrid.
