JOB DESCRIPTION
The Community & Membership Manager will support the day-to-day management of ADYH’s growing community and membership base. This is a hands-on execution role focused on ensuring members receive timely communication, feel connected to ADYH, and have consistent access to opportunities, updates, and resources.
The Manager will work closely with the Director of Community & Membership to implement membership systems, manage community channels, support onboarding, and maintain consistent member engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the implementation of ADYH’s member onboarding and engagement processes.
Welcome and onboard new members in a timely and organized manner.
Maintain accurate member information and records.
Manage day-to-day communication within ADYH’s WhatsApp and other community channels.
Prepare and distribute member newsletters, announcements, and community updates.
Share relevant opportunities, programs, events, and resources with members.
Follow up with members to encourage participation and engagement.
Identify inactive members and support re-engagement efforts.
Help maintain a consistent and positive member experience.
Collect member feedback and identify recurring questions, needs, or concerns.
Coordinate with Programs and Communications to ensure members are informed about relevant ADYH activities.
Support the Director of Community & Membership in implementing community initiatives and membership campaigns.
Proactively identify gaps in member communication and take action to address them.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
Someone who is organized, responsive, proactive, and people-oriented, with an interest or experience in community management, membership engagement, communications, youth engagement, nonprofit organizations, or related areas.
The ideal candidate is comfortable with hands-on work and understands that community management requires consistent follow-through. They should be able to independently complete tasks, communicate clearly, and keep members engaged without requiring constant reminders.
LEADERSHIP & OWNERSHIP EXPECTATION
This is a volunteer position with real operational responsibility. ADYH is looking for someone who will take ownership of their responsibilities, communicate proactively, meet deadlines, and identify solutions when something needs to be done.
