The Girls Future Ready Foundation is launching the first edition of the Future Ready Awards taking place during the GFR Summit 2026, the biggest conference in the world by young women for young women on the 25th of September 2026 in Łódź, Poland.
The Girls Future Ready Foundation is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 with a mission to empower and educate young women in the development of key skills: self-confidence, public speaking, entrepreneurship, English, and a global mindset. Since its founding, the Foundation has impacted over 107,000 girls, across 6 global programs and is led by Zofia Kierner, Forbes 30 Under 30, VOGUE Leader, and advocate for women's access to education.
The Future Ready Awards are meant to be a connection between the present and the future by honoring girls and women whose work is already shaping what comes next. From breakthrough science to social change to new narratives in media, these are the women who don't wait for permission to lead.
The first edition will honor 6 laureates across 3 main categories:
Each category recognizes excellence at two life stages: ages 14–29 and ages 30–99. Together, we celebrate the women building the world we want to live in.
Submissions are open to women from anywhere in the world and you can submit yourself or nominate someone whose work deserves to be seen.
They told us crowns were heavy. They forgot to mention we'd be lifting them for each other. Because in Girls Future Ready we believe that behind every woman wearing a crown is a woman who straightened it for her.
