Welcome to Ember & Ink

Before we introduce you to your pen pal, we'd love to get to know a little about you!

There are no right or wrong answers here. You don't need to be profound, poetic, or particularly good at writing. Tell us what feels true to you, skip the pressure to impress anyone, and let us get a sense of the person behind the letter.

Your answers will be used by Ember & Ink to help create thoughtful pen-pal matches.

Some information will remain private and will only be used by Ember & Ink for administrative purposes.

This can be your first name, a nickname, or a chosen pen name. Whatever you are comfortable with. Could even be a username like: "DancingWildflower". The sky's the limit as long as you feel safe! (Your penpal name will be visible to everyone)

Your answers help us create thoughtful matches, but no match can guarantee a particular friendship or relationship. People are wonderfully unpredictable, and that's part of what makes this experience interesting.

Please remember that you are always in control of what personal information you choose to share with your pen pal.

We recommend keeping sensitive personal information private and taking your time getting to know someone.
