Welcome! District Angels is a DC-based angel investing community on a mission to make the DMV a powerhouse of innovation by activating and aligning angel capital with great ideas.

We believe angel investing should be accessible to all, and work toward that through three pillars: - Education - demystifying angel investing through our Venture Fellowship and programming - Shared infrastructure & resources - giving our partners ungated access to deal flow, research, and diligence - Community - bridging angel groups, VCs, universities, and economic development orgs across the DMV

We back companies across the US, with a particular pull toward startups rooted in the DC metro area. We're industry-agnostic - dual-use defense, fintech, AI, healthtech, climate, crypto, and beyond. We invest at pre-seed, seed, and select Series A, with collective checks starting at $50K and individual check sizes as low as $2.5K. We actively co-syndicate with other funds and angel groups.
