Checkup is a vehicle maintenance tracking app for iOS. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is stored, and what rights you have.
**Short version:** everything you enter stays on your device. Checkup does not collect, transmit, or share any of your personal data.

## 1. Data We Collect
Checkup does not collect any data. All information you enter is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's on-device database technology (SwiftData).
The types of information you may enter into the app include:
-**Vehicle information** — make, model, year, license plate number, VIN, purchase price, purchase date, vehicle photo
-**Maintenance records** — date, mileage, cost, category, garage name, notes
-**Insurance information** — insurance cost entered for ownership-cost calculations
-**Documents** — photos or scans of vehicle-related documents (registration, insurance cards, etc.)
-**Reminders** — maintenance schedules and alert preferences
None of this information ever leaves your device.

## 2. Data Storage
All app data is stored locally on your device. It is never transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party.
If you have iCloud Backup enabled in your iOS settings, your device data (including app data) may be backed up to your iCloud account according to Apple's own privacy policy. This backup is managed entirely by Apple and is outside the scope of Checkup.

Checkup does not:
- Collect analytics or usage data
- Use crash reporting services
- Integrate advertising SDKs
- Track your location
- Access your contacts, calendar, or any other system data beyond what you explicitly provide

If you enable maintenance reminders, Checkup uses iOS local notifications. These notifications are generated on your device and do not involve any server communication.

Checkup does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. Because no data is collected at all, the app is safe for use by anyone.

Checkup does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics services, or advertising networks. The only external links in the app are:

Because no data is collected or stored outside your device, there is nothing for us to access, export, or delete on our end. You have full control over your data:
