Go Study Form

Informed consent

You are invited to participate in a research study on cognitive and emotional processes during the evaluation of Go (Weiqi / Baduk) positions.

By continuing, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to participate under the conditions described above.

Participation is voluntary. You may stop the study at any time without providing a reason and without any consequences.

The study collects survey responses and anonymized interaction data (e.g., responses to questionnaires and game position evaluations). No directly identifying personal data is collected. Data will be processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and used exclusively for scientific research purposes.

Instructions

Completing the survey should take around 15 minutes, but can take upwards to 30 minutes if you spend more time on each board position.

The survey is composed of one brief questionnaire and six 9x9 endgame board positions along with several questions concerning each position.
