Be part of an inspiring gathering of 120 passionate young Europeans working to shape the future of Europe at a crucial moment for our continent. Building on the legacy of the historic Manifesto di Ventotene and the success of previous editions of 2022 and 2024, this year’s forum will once again amplify youth voices in support of European federalism, enlargement, peace, and global cooperation.
Cádiz, Europe’s oldest city and the only one in Spain that remained free during the Napoleonic Wars, embodies a dual legacy: the struggle for liberation from occupation and, at the same time, the enshrinement of fundamental rights through the 1812 Constitution, a milestone that transformed citizens' rights on both sides of the Atlantic. This history offers a unique lens to explore Europe's evolving dialogue with foreign partners, particularly Latin America. The federalist ideals of the Ventotene Manifesto, combined with Cádiz’s heritage of liberation and democracy, set the stage for reimagining Europe's future. As one of the former main historic ports to the Americas, Cádiz has long been a gateway for transatlantic exchange—a role that remains just as relevant nowadays, especially as we approach the 40th anniversary of Spain and Portugal joining the European Union, a reminder of the transformative power of integration and cooperation.
Today, as the global security framework faces uncertainty, the federalist cooperation of peoples in Europe, together with their international partners, holds enormous potential. Together, we are a global power in our own right—bound by shared values, languages, and economic ties. Young voices must be at the centre of this dialogue, both in the European public sphere and in international cooperation.
Through debates, grassroots activism, policy proposals and interactive experiences, contribute to the future of European integration and global stability.
