On Thursday November 5th, we are curating an intimate evening of conversation and connection among ten women over dinner in Seattle. One long table, a private home, and food cooked to perfection. I am creating this space because the good advice most of us have been given has almost always been about work, arriving in the shape of a promotion, a negotiation or a next move, all of it useful and none of it the full story.
None of us is only a career, and the conversations that are actually worth having rarely stay inside one. So at this dinner the conversation could range from career topics to everything around them too. Underneath all of it a simple question that most of us never make time for: what do you actually want the next ten years to look like?
