Job Title: Contract Administration Section Head
Location: Baghdad – Al-Arasat
Job Summary:

This position is responsible for overseeing the entire contract administration process across the organization. This role ensures that all contracts are effectively managed from execution through to compliance and performance monitoring and ensuring that contracts are executed in compliance with legal and organizational standards. The Head of Contract Administration will lead a team of contract experts, engineers, and admin officers to develop and enforce best practice, and ensure the organization mitigates contractual risks while maximizing business opportunities

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the organization's internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained
• Meet with customers to discuss both legal and business matters
• Provide advice and guidance to the different teams relating to contract generation
• Draft and revise a variety of contracts with customers
• Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met
• Provide support and advice on new potential businesses opportunities
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement
these changes.
• Creating standard contracts that the company can use in its dealings with internal and external partners.
• Training, supervising, and managing the contract team.
• Maintaining, updating, and improving contractual records.
• Negotiate contract agreements for services.
• Preparation of Contract documents, amendments, variations in accordance with approved company policy.
• Keep track of the Value of Work Done for each contract
• Approve or deny requests for services outside the terms of the contract and write amendments to cover additional services.
Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer, Mechanical, Electrical, Telecom Engineering or business administration or related field.

• A minimum 6 Years of experience in contract management and 2 Years of experience in Managerial Position.

• Proficiency English and Arabic- Written and Spoken.

• Proficiency Microsoft Office (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively

• with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community

• Knowledge of contract documents and specifications.

• Skill in the negotiation and establishment of contractual arrangements for goods and services.

• Knowledge of contractor compliance issues and procedures, as applicable to a public institution.

• Ability to make administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.

• Knowledge of contract rules and regulations.
