What does connection look like? The "Community Poem Project" invites you to add your words. One line at at time, by many voices.

In a world that feels increasingly disconnected despite our hyper-connectiveness, isolated despite the constant noise and information flashing on our screens, solitary despite our expanding platforms, we are still human—full of love, longing, joy, pain…

The “Community Poem Project” invites you to take a "sec" (stop-express-connect) and contribute one line to a collaborative poem written by everyday voices across the country on themes of connection. The goal is to grow an ongoing written expression that can be shared and displayed publicly, connecting strangers’ inner thoughts and feelings to reveal the varied nature of being.

Respond to one of the phrases below to add your line to the community poem:

"Connection is...looks like...feels like..."/ "I need..."/ "I miss..."

(10-100 characters)

This project invites members of the public to contribute a line to the collaborative community poem. All submissions are anonymous, voluntary, without compensation, and may be edited, combined, and shared publicly, displayed, published online or in print, used in creative works as part of the final project.
