Anyaa is here to eliminate the job of running the kitchen.

We are a young consumer startup with real households using the product every day. We’ve found our fit, and now we’re setting up our full kitchen.

Two founders, a product that works, and a kitchen full of ideas. What we don’t have yet is you.

Role

We’re looking for a software engineering intern who wants to build at the earliest stage of a company. You’ll work closely with the founders, have a say in what gets built, and own things from idea to production.

There are no layers between you and the customer.

What you'll own

1. Build the product. Turn ideas and customer problems into simple, reliable experiences.

2. Own what you ship. Design, build, deploy, monitor and improve the things you work on.

3. Solve hard problems. Work across product, engineering and AI as the problems demand.

4. Raise the engineering bar. Help us make good decisions early around architecture, reliability, tooling and how we build.

5. Move fast. Figure things out, make decisions, ship, learn and do it again.

You’re our person if you

- Build full-stack with AI coding tools daily, and ship features that can hold up in production

- Review AI-written code carefully: you catch the missing edge case, the insecure shortcut and the change that works but should not exist

- Can specify a feature clearly enough that an agent builds the right thing the first time

- Understand the system underneath: databases, APIs, webhooks, auth, queues, and what happens when one of them fails

- Care about how the product feels to someone using it on mobile, WhatsApp or the web, and notice the small things

- Write clear notes and pull requests, and ask for help early

- Work without waiting to be told what is next, and finish what you start

- Want to build from 0 to 1, not maintain something that already works

Nice to have

Experience building consumer products; AI/LLM applications; Python, TypeScript or modern web/mobile technologies; production systems, APIs and third-party integrations

Not for you if

You want to stay inside one layer of the stack, or you ship code you have not read.
