Write freely — there’s no formula to this. Just explain your idea in whatever way feels like a good explanation to you. When you upload pictures here, you have an ability to write the caption for each picture so you can explain exactly what in the picture you are referencing, if needed.
I really like when people send visual explanations, so feel free to:
• draw yourself
• make collages
• send references
• screenshot tattoos
• explain things on images
Anything that helps you to communicate the idea is welcome.
Things that help a lot — especially if you want a more precise price estimate:
Send as many pictures as you want that reflect the style you’re going for.
The easiest way is just taking screenshots of tattoos that have a similar vibe to what you want, sending pictures of your own tattoos.
This can show things like:
• level of darkness
• thickness of lines
• the overall style (illustrative, graphic, realistic, etc.)
These tattoos don’t need to have anything in common with the actual subject of your tattoo — they just need to reflect the style you are going for.
They also don’t have to be my tattoos.
I won’t copy other artists’ work, but references help me understand the direction and vibe you’re looking for.
If the tattoo has to fit a very exact spot like between tattoos, please send clear photos of that area and measurements.
We might need to also do a video call or consultation to figure that out, I will let you know.
