REWILD Southern Africa 2027 - Application

I'm so glad you're here.
This 2027 REWILD Expedition will take us into some of the wildest — and most delicate — corners of Southern Africa, and into the stories and people protecting and transforming them. For 10 nights from March 26 - April 5, we will journey between Zimbabwe, Botswana, and South Africa, alongside a group of approximately 30 hand-selected women.

A few things I want to make sure you've read before you apply. These protect both of us.

Trip cost

The all-in trip investment is $12,500 USD per person, double occupancy. This includes all accommodations across ten nights, all internal flights and ground transfers, all meals, all guides, all expedition programming, all contributor sessions, and all in-camp experiences.

International airfare to Victoria Falls and from Cape Town, gratuities, personal expenses, visas and related entry fees, and travel insurance are not included.

Payment terms & cancellation policy

A $2,500 USD non-refundable, non-transferable deposit secures your place upon invitation, with two further installments due on a schedule shared in your booking documents. Other payment arrangements can be made on request.

Cancellation policy (refund figures are calculated on what you've paid above the deposit):

• If you cancel before September 26, 2026, everything you've paid above the deposit is refunded in full. • If you cancel on or after September 26 and before December 26, 2026, half of everything above the deposit is refunded. • If you cancel on or after December 26, 2026 (inside 90 days of departure), the trip is non-refundable.
I book this expedition based on a set number of travelers, and supplier payments lock in stages before departure — which is why the refund shrinks as the trip gets closer. Travel insurance is required and protects you if life shifts inside these windows.

Travel insurance with cancellation coverage is required for this trip. Because the trip is booked based on a set number of travelers, with supplier payments locked well before departure, refunds outside the cancellation window aren't possible. Insurance protects you in case life shifts. I can recommend providers if helpful.
