The staff team and the council are two teams that are specifically focused on helping Vortex maintain a steady stream of new material for our gamers. In order to help Vortex expand and give players a voice, this application gives members of the community the chance to apply to join our team. You cannot become a council member by playing the game or paying to use the server. We choose council members who satisfy a list of requirements we have for applicants. The Council is for those who: • Want to see new material on Vortex; • Have suggestions and solutions for concerns and new content; • Always act maturely and professionally; • Want to help Vortex develop and be a positive community; • Enjoy assisting others and have extensive knowledge of Vortex's many Planets. The Council is not for people who: • Have a history of harsh or disproportionate penalties; • Desire an exclusive role; • Desire to gain popularity through a position of authority; • Been previously blacklisted on the network
