The screening committee requires individuals to screen candidates well before the endorsement meetings, which occur during the election cycles. Staffing and handing out endorsement cards at poll sites during early voting and elections is also a regularly occurring volunteer opportunity. The upkeep of records and the membership database may need people for various tasks. Fundraising is an important part of the financial health of the Caucus and volunteers are needed to staff fundraising events. Finally, calls for volunteers will occur for specific projects, such as visiting the State Legislature. Volunteering is the lifeblood of the Caucus and all members are invited to offer their services.
