Custory Marketing Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our growing marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across social media management, content creation, branding, and campaign support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will work closely with our Project Manager to support the planning and execution of marketing initiatives, project deliverables, and contribute ideas that drive brand visibility and engagement. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, passionate about marketing, and ready to make a real impact from day one.

 

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

- Assist in managing and scheduling content across social media platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and TikTok.

- Help monitor social media accounts, track engagement, respond to comments, and flag key interactions to the team.

- Support the creation and maintenance of monthly social media content calendars.

- Research trending topics, hashtags, and content formats to keep our social presence current and competitive.

 

Content Creation & Copywriting

- Comfortable appearing on camera for content when required, with the ability to support basic filming and editing (e.g. CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro).

- Design static posts and simple marketing assets using tools such as Canva or Adobe Illustrator.

- Write clear, engaging captions and short-form copy for social media, email, and marketing materials.

- Support visual content creation through coordination with designers or hands-on execution.

- Assist with blog posts, website updates, and marketing collateral aligned with brand voice.

- Repurpose existing content across platforms and formats to maximise reach and efficiency.

 

Branding & Brand Consistency

- Ensure all content produced is consistent with established brand guidelines, including tone, visual identity, and messaging.

- Support the team in conducting brand audits, reviewing existing materials and flagging inconsistencies.

- Assist in the development of branded templates and creative assets for campaigns and presentations.

 

Campaign & Project Support

- Provide administrative and logistical support for the planning and execution of marketing campaigns.

- Help track project timelines, deliverables, and deadlines using project management tools (e.g. Asana, Trello, or Monday.com).

- Compile and organise research, competitive intelligence, and market data to support campaign briefs and proposals.

- Attend team meetings, take notes, and assist in preparing decks and presentations for internal and client use.

 

Analytics & Reporting

- Assist in tracking and reporting on social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, etc.).

- Support the team in compiling weekly or monthly performance reports using tools such as Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics.

- Help identify insights from data to recommend improvements to content and campaign strategies.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Required

- Currently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Media, Business, or a related field.

- Genuine passion for marketing, social media, branding, and digital content.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

- Good eye for design, aesthetics, and brand consistency.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

- Ability to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

- Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective business/creator tools (Meta Business Suite, TikTok Creator Studio, LinkedIn Analytics).

- Basic proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.

- Interest in SEO, email marketing, or paid digital advertising is a plus.
